Small enterprise zone Valpovo is located in the southeast part of the town, at the entrance to the town from direction of Osijek, in D.Sutarića street. It involves 32 construction plots covering the area of 65,000 sqm. The average plot size is about 1,650 sqm. Seventeen entrepreneurs are operating in the Zone and they conduct the following activities: foodstuff industry, metal processing, wood processing, chemical, trading, services and business services. 233 employees work in the Zone. It is furnished with complete infrastructure (road, water supply (54 cu.m./h), sewage effluents disposal system, electricity supply (630 kW), gas supply and phone). In addition to the Town of Valpovo, Osijek-Baranja County and Ministry of Economy, Labour and Entrepreneurship participated in financing of construction and furnishing of the Zone.
